Clone Cluster enables users to clone the data from one cluster to another one with a few clicks in the CrateDB Cloud Console or with a simple CLI command.
This requries only a few simple steps:
- Selects a specific snapshot from the list of available backups
- Define a target cluster for the cloning and confirm the operation
- Wait till the cloning is done (you will see a confirmation or an error depending on the outcome of the cloning process)
Cloning clusters works accross different regions and providers and even between edge and cloud clusters.
