We are happy to announce that from today you can use CrateDB Cloud for free. Users now have access to a CrateDB single node without ever getting charged.
The CRFREE single node comes with 2 CPUs, 2 GiB of memory and includes 8 GiB of storage. You can deploy one per organisation and it is not required to provide a payment method. Also it doesn’t reduce your Free Credit so you will still be able to deploy other clusters without getting billed. With CRFREE we want to give developers simple way to test, evaluate and develop with CrateDB. CRFREE nodes get suspended automatically after 7 days of inactivity and can be resumed from the Console or the CLI.
