CrateDB Cloud now makes it easy to change the configuration of your CrateDB Cloud cluster. With this new feature, you no longer need to worry about which cluster you select for deployment. If you figure out that your cluster doesn’t fit your use-case, just change it with a few simple clicks from the UI.
With this you can start with a very small cluster and adapt it over time to your use-case. It also allows you to react to changes in demand (e.g. more compute needed to cover higher traffic demands) in an ad-hoc fashion. Changing your plan is conducted as a rolling re-start of your cluster - so no downtime is expected!
